✨ Alchemy in Action: Transforming Visual Arts Curriculum & Pedagogy 📍 National Art School
👭Janna Adams Tess, Sydney Grammar School and Jessica Priebe, National Art School / Artverse Lab
At this year’s annual conference of the Visual Arts and Design Educators of Australia, we explored how creative practice can evolve when analogue and digital methods meet.
During the workshop visual arts educators:
🎨 Created analogue works inspired by Friedensreich Hundertwasser’s La Casa Mobile
🤖 Experimented with AI remixing using Leonardo.Ai
🌐 Curated their final works in a virtual gallery built on Spatial (visit below)
The session opened space for new questions:
👉How can emerging technologies expand the possibilities of visual arts education?
👉What does authorship look like in hybrid workflows?
👉How can immersive platforms give students new ways to see and be seen?
Thank you to Leonardo and Spatial for their ongoing support of Artverse Lab
